Paintings
This piece, along with several others in the series, was inspired by the 11-century relief sculptures on the bronze doors of the church of San Zeno in Verona, Italy. Echoes of the direct and primal style of the sculpture are woven into new visual narratives that explore states of being - fear, doubt, paralysis, and redemption.
